Some excerpts from the Record Eagle's Opinion page today, or maybe just one. I got distracted.
"You would be more than happy to have a police officer with a pizza stain on his shirt answer your call if . . . someone was breaking into your home."
You said it, man. Happy New Year.

It's the end of the semester and I've dug my car out of the snow at least four times today. Hooray!

Six of the seven items that begged completion over the past week are now done begging, and it feels so good.
What feels even better is the sheen of Maoxie's hairs post-Pert-Plus-bath. My roommates wanted to see what he looked like under such a fluffy coat, and because lately he's been rolling around a lot on the floor of our skunky, unfinished laundry room (also, home to my toilet-on-a-platform), I decided it was time to meet the Jake-established annual-bath requirements. Four of us crammed into the upstairs bathroom, I turned on the tap, and immediately claws came out, feline eyes flashed vermilion, and sweet baby Maoxie was reduced to a pile of angry, soggy fur. Post scrubbing, his newly-humbled frame sought out the nearest heating vent and huddled, possum-like, until I wrapped him in a towel and carted him to the warmth of the space heater in my room. After hours of licking and a nuzzling the back of my knees, he seems mostly recovered today, and he smells delicious. Ah, sweet Maoxie.
Also good --> POWER YOGA yesterday -- I am uber-
downward-dogged-
out, man. P.yog at
A2 is definitely my favorite of my non-Bikram yoga adventures thus far, and we get to do
inversions, which beginning Bikram doesn't get into. Woo.
I've just squandered 1.5 hours of my law 48-hour-take-home final, so it's time to remedy the harms of that set of poor choices. After some Snood, I think.

Don't think I don't know that this blog is completely awful and lacking in humo(u)r these days. I'm aware. It's painful. Ugh. Blaow. The end.
