Yesterday evening Mos Def performed in Hill auditorium under the auspices of Professor Def and the [so delicious and good for you] Watermelons. It was pretty sweet, and he was awarded a visiting professor award (seriously? yes) as part of the MLKDay events schtick. Also, the saxophonist played a keytar (inspiring the conversation to the left, which made me giggle), though there was no hour-long keytar solo. Bummer.
